Thank you for your interest in Watts-Ville™ presented by Eversource. Due to the overwhelming response, we have reached our 2023/24 school year program limit. If you would like to be added to a waiting list, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. If additional funding becomes available, we will reach out and schedule your event. We will keep you informed of future energy efficiency educational programming as it becomes available.
Watts-Ville™ In-School is a high-energy, 30-minute interactive in-class game for grades K–2 that teaches students about energy efficiency and the importance of saving energy.
Students race energy frogs with the spin of the Watts-Ville™ wheel. The groups advance along the path across the board. As they do so, they encounter both positive and negative energy behavior messages and must answer questions related to this behavior. When both frogs cross the finish line, everyone wins!
Watts-Ville encourages simple behaviors such as turning off the lights before leaving a room or what to do when you see downed power lines. At the end of the program, students receive an Eversource goodie bag containing their very own Watts-Ville™ game to play at home.
Each performance has a maximum capacity of 40 students per show. We can perform as many shows as needed to accommodate. We encourage getting as many K-2 classes at your school to participate.
“This performance was extremely engaging for students. Having the students participate was a bonus that kept them excited and focused. This performance also reviewed our Energy Curriculum Unit.”
